• Camera and Photo Library: Photos captured or selected for identity verification, document uploads, and property images.
• Device Information: Device type (iOS/Android), push notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and app usage data.
• Search and Usage Data: Search queries, applied filters, property clicks, recently viewed properties, and browsing preferences.
• Lease and Payment Data: Lease agreement details, payment transaction history, and contract signing records.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Account Creation and Authentication: To verify your identity via phone-based OTP and manage your account.
• Identity Verification: To perform KYC checks through Veriff and verify your identity for tenant screening.
• Tenant Screening: To assess rental applications based on income verification, employment status, and behavioral scoring.
• Property Search: To show nearby properties, calculate distances, and display relevant points of interest using your location.
• Lease Management: To facilitate digital lease signing through DocuSign and manage lease agreements.
• Rent Collection and Payouts: To process rent payments and landlord payouts on schedule.
• Push Notifications: To send updates about application status, lease signing, payment reminders, and viewing schedules.
• Platform Improvement: To analyze search patterns and usage data to improve our property recommendations and user experience.
• Communication: To contact you about your account, applications, and service updates.

3. Information Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only with the following parties and only as necessary to provide our services:

• Supabase: Our backend infrastructure provider for authentication, database storage, and file storage. Your data is stored securely on their servers.
• Firebase (Google): For push notification delivery via Firebase Cloud Messaging. We store your device token to send notifications.
• Veriff: For identity verification (KYC). Veriff processes your facial scan and ID document to verify your identity. Veriff's own privacy policy governs their data handling.
• DocuSign: For digital lease signing. Lease contracts are signed within DocuSign's embedded signing experience.
• Google Maps and Places API: For displaying property locations and nearby amenities. Your location data is sent to Google to provide map and search functionality.
• Landlords: Verified profile information (name, verification status, employment details) is shared with landlords when you apply for their properties.
• Licensed Financial Partners: Payment and transaction data is shared with our licensed financial service providers for rent collection and payout processing.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Data Security

We take data security seriously and implement appropriate measures to protect your information. Sensitive data such as authentication tokens and user preferences are stored using device-level encryption (iOS Keychain and Android Keystore). Documents uploaded for verification (National ID, salary slips, bank statements) are stored in secure cloud storage with time-limited access URLs. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS. Access to your data is controlled through row-level security policies, ensuring users can only access their own information.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data from our systems, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records. Uploaded documents are stored securely and access URLs expire after 60 seconds for each viewing session.

• Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: You can update your profile information through the app at any time.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
